In the spirit of our founding mission to uplift SMEs during challenging times, we are excited to announce the latest evolution in our services—our brand-new Start-up Advisor Initiative. The idea behind this improvement was born from a gap we identified in our existing program: a lack of focused support tailored to smaller businesses and start-ups.
Why the Need?
Start-ups are the lifeblood of our economy and the impact they have on its future trajectory is monumental. Their innovation, courage, and agility are crucial in driving growth and creating new opportunities. However, many of these businesses were not eligible for our existing Volunteer Advisor program, which focuses on enterprises with revenues between £500k-£20m.
Given that we are All Together in our efforts to help and support the founders and CEOs of British SMEs, we felt it was our duty to expand our offering to help those previously unable to access our support.
What’s Changing?
We’re enlisting the help of a brand-new advisory board —a dedicated panel comprised of some of the sharpest minds in the start-up ecosystem, just as our Volunteer Advisors are a who’s-who of the UK’s most prominent corporate leaders. These Start-up Advisors are existing members of our community who have benefitted from the mentorship of our Volunteer Advisors. They have graciously agreed to donate their time and invaluable experience to guide the burgeoning entrepreneurs of today.
